RedMagic 12 Pro+: Launch Date, Specs, Price and UAE Availability

RedMagic 12 Pro+ is the name used in REDMAGIC’s China launch announcement for October 15, 2026. For UAE buyers, there is now a separate date to watch: the company’s UAE website previews the REDMAGIC 12 Pro and schedules its announcement for November 3 at 4pm GST. The preview does not give an AED price or an order-opening date.

This guide separates the China-market Pro+ announcement from the 12 Pro information published for the UAE. It also compares the local preview with the previous 11 Pro, so you can see what has changed and which buying details are still missing. Official pages were checked on October 15, 2026.

Key takeaways

  • The October 15 China event date appears in REDMAGIC’s own announcement; it is not just a media report.
  • The UAE site now has a 12 Pro preview. Its November 3 announcement date is not a confirmed delivery date.
  • That preview lists an 8,400mAh battery, a display reaching 185Hz and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 with an R5 gaming chip.
  • No 12-series AED price appears on the preview. The older 11 Pro’s AED 2,699 listing is a comparison point, not a price estimate for its successor.

RedMagic 12 Pro+ launch date and the UAE announcement

REDMAGIC’s official China event notice scheduled the Pro+ presentation for October 15, 2026, at 2:30pm China time, equivalent to 10:30am in the UAE. This establishes the announced event time; it does not establish a UAE sales date.

The official UAE REDMAGIC 12 Pro preview gives November 3 at 4pm GST as its announcement time. It is a product preview and sign-up page, rather than a local purchase listing. The final UAE configurations, charging rates, prices and delivery arrangements still need to be specified there.

The model names matter. China’s announcement says 12 Pro+, while the UAE preview says 12 Pro. Do not assume that every specification or price attached to one name also applies to the other. The comparison below uses the UAE preview wherever it discusses the upcoming local model.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 and cooling

REDMAGIC confirms the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 for the China-market 12 Pro+. The UAE preview also names that processor, paired with the REDMAGIC R5 gaming chipset.

On its Snapdragon platform page, Qualcomm claims generation-on-generation improvements of up to 13% in CPU performance, 44% in GPU performance and 35% in AI performance. These are the chip maker’s figures, not measured frame-rate gains from our testing of this phone.

REDMAGIC’s China cooling announcement describes water cooling working alongside active air cooling. For the UAE 12 Pro, the company describes a dual-loop liquid system with a turbo fan, vapour chamber and Liquid Metal 4.0. The liquid circulation and fan form complementary parts of the cooling system.

For a player, the useful test will be sustained performance: how the phone behaves after a long session, how warm it feels and how much fan noise it produces. A new processor and a more elaborate cooling system are reasons to look closely at those results; they do not establish them on their own.

Display, battery and the details still missing

The UAE preview specifies a full-screen AMOLED panel running at up to 185Hz and an 8,400mAh battery. These are manufacturer-announced features of the UAE 12 Pro preview. The page also describes slimmer bezels, without giving the complete local display specification.

A panel’s maximum refresh rate does not guarantee that every game runs at that frame rate. Likewise, a larger battery does not by itself establish gaming endurance. Screen settings, game support, heat and power consumption all affect the experience.

The UAE preview does not specify charging wattages, camera resolutions or shoulder-trigger sampling rates. Earlier reports of 120W wired and 80W wireless charging should therefore not be treated as confirmed UAE specifications. These are gaps in the local preview, not a claim that no specifications have been published anywhere else.

RedMagic 12 Pro+ price and UAE availability

An official UAE price for the new 12 series was not displayed on the preview when checked on October 15. A China launch price, a currency conversion and an imported unit’s asking price are different things from an official UAE retail price.

For context, the official UAE REDMAGIC 11 Pro listing showed AED 2,699 for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, with that selection marked out of stock. That figure describes the older phone and the selected configuration; it is not a forecast for the 12 Pro or 12 Pro+.

Before buying an imported Pro+, ask for the exact model, software region, supported network bands, warranty provider and final delivered price. The November announcement may help clarify the local alternative, but it is not a promise that orders or deliveries will begin that day. Our guide to gaming phone prices and buying options in the UAE covers the broader local purchase decision.

REDMAGIC 12 Pro UAE preview vs REDMAGIC 11 Pro

This comparison uses the 12 Pro preview on the UAE website, not an assumed specification sheet for an imported China-market 12 Pro+. The 11 Pro column comes from its official UAE product listing. “Not specified” means the new model’s local preview did not provide that detail on October 15, 2026.

Should UAE buyers wait?

If your current phone still handles your games well, the November 3 announcement is a useful point at which to reassess. Compare the eventual UAE price and warranty with an imported Pro+ offer, then look for sustained gaming tests rather than deciding from peak chipset claims alone.

If you need a replacement immediately, confirm live stock before choosing the older 11 Pro. For alternatives across brands and gaming features, read our gaming phone performance guide. For more device launches and comparisons, browse DubaiPress Technology.
