On the official season page, starting prices for the remaining shows run from AED 195 to AED 500.

Dubai Opera 2026 Shows by Genre
Opera
The one full opera production is the Bolshoi Theatre’s The Tsar’s Bride on 2 December, Rimsky-Korsakov’s drama set in the reign of Ivan the Terrible, staged with the Bolshoi’s recreated Fyodor Fedorovsky sets. It runs about 3 hours 10 minutes with two intermissions and is for ages 12+. For a shorter evening, European Classics on 7 November brings soprano Aleksandra Chernenko and mezzo-soprano Alina Vasina to the smaller Studio for arias and duets by Puccini, Bellini, Mozart and Delibes, with unreserved seating. Queen of the Night on 6 November is filed under opera on the website, but it is a Whitney Houston tribute concert.
Ballet and dance
The Bolshoi Ballet dances The Nutcracker from 4 to 6 December in Yuri Grigorovich’s choreography, with the Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra in the pit. At AED 495 and up it is one of the priciest tickets of the season, but also one of the most family-friendly, with a 3+ age limit and a 2pm session. In January, Swan Lake on Ice puts 24 Imperial Ice Stars skaters on a rink built on the stage, and before that Compagnia Finzi Pasca’s Titizé – A Venetian Dream (29 to 31 October) mixes acrobatics, clowning and live music in a show of about 80 minutes.
Classical concerts
Valery Gergiev conducts the Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra on 3 December, the orchestra’s first performance at Dubai Opera. Earlier, the UAE National Orchestra marks World Opera Day on 25 October with Romantic Masters, a 4pm concert of Rossini’s Barber of Seville overture, Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto with Júlia Pusker and Brahms’s Second Symphony. Pianists close the year and open the next: Denis Matsuev plays a classics-and-jazz programme on 16 December, and Tony Ann makes his Dubai Opera debut on 10 January 2027. Italian tenor Luca Minnelli sings with an orchestra on 5 November.
Pop, Arabic and world music
André Reyes brings the Gipsy Kings songbook to a symphonic stage on 22 October, and Ministry of Sound Classical turns 90s dance anthems into a 31-piece orchestral show on 7 November. For Arabic-speaking audiences, Hiba Tawaji and trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf bring their new show À la Française on 27 November, and Guy Manoukian plays his 10th Dubai Opera concert on 11 December. Enrico Macias performs on 10 December on a tour billed as one of his final international appearances.
Comedy and theatre
Trevor Noah was first announced for 25 and 26 November; after those sold fast, Live Nation added 28 and 29 November, as Gulf News reported. The shows start at 8pm and are for ages 16+ only. In Arabic, the Kuwaiti Gulf theatre comedy Abracadabra comes to the Main Auditorium in December, with a 3+ age limit that makes it one of the few comedy nights you can take children to.
Family shows and musicals
The best picks for children are The Nutcracker (3+), Abracadabra (3+), Titizé and Swan Lake on Ice (both 4+), and the last three have 2pm sessions. Every child at or above a show’s minimum age needs their own ticket, and under-18s must be with an adult. No Broadway or West End musical was on the published 2026-27 programme when we checked.
How to Buy Dubai Opera Tickets
Dubai Opera tickets are sold through two official channels: each show’s booking page on dubaiopera.com, which shows the seating plan and live prices, and the box office in Dubai Opera Plaza on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, open daily from 11am to 8pm. Mobile and print-at-home tickets are scanned at the door, so there is no need to visit the box office if you book online.
- Collecting tickets: according to the official FAQ, only the person who booked can collect, with the purchase email, the card used and photo ID. Anyone else needs a letter of authorisation arranged with the box office before the show.
- Refunds: every show page we checked says tickets are non-refundable, so confirm the date before you pay.
- Who runs the show: many dates, including Trevor Noah, Benjamin Clementine and Tony Ann, are venue hires by outside promoters, while Swan Lake on Ice and Titizé are presented by Dubai Opera itself and the Bolshoi visit is co-presented by Dubai Opera and Art Seasons.
- Avoid resale: resale listings can be priced far above face value with no guarantee of entry; the official page price is the only reliable one.
Prices rise by category. For Trevor Noah, for example, Dubai Opera lists AED 295 as the starting price, while the official Visit Dubai listing gives a range of AED 295 to AED 595.

Before You Go: Age Limits, Dress Code and Timings
Age limits are set show by show, from 3+ for The Nutcracker and Abracadabra to 16+ for Trevor Noah, and children below the limit are not allowed into the auditorium. The minimum ages in the schedule above come from each official event page. At Queen of the Night and Ministry of Sound Classical, the standing Fan Pit is for ages 16+ only.
The dress code asks guests to avoid overly casual or provocative clothing such as shorts or flip-flops, and people who don’t follow it can be refused entry. The building opens two hours before the show and the auditorium doors open 30 minutes before. Latecomers are not admitted once the performance starts and may only enter at an intermission, if there is one.
Getting to Dubai Opera: Parking and Accessibility
Dubai Opera is on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard in Downtown Dubai. The official directions page sends drivers to Parking Entrance C, just after the Dubai Opera sign on the boulevard. Opera self-parking costs AED 20 an hour, or AED 60 an hour overnight from 1am to 5:59am (VAT included). It is charged to your Salik account, with a QR code option, and any Downtown parking charge is cancelled once you enter Opera parking. Taxis and private cars drop off at Dubai Opera Plaza next to the sign, and paid valet is available there. The venue advises leaving extra time because of Downtown traffic.
According to the accessibility page, there are designated wheelchair spaces for patrons and their carers, lifts to every level, accessible restrooms on the Stalls level and 10 accessible parking bays in Basement 2 of Dubai Opera Parking. If you are flying in for a show, check which Dubai visa type applies to you before booking.
Make a Night of It: Dining, Tours and Late Evenings
Dubai Opera’s own tour page pairs visits with dining at Bisou and Alba in the building. For more choices nearby, our guide to indoor restaurants with a view in Dubai suits a pre-show dinner, and families heading to a matinee can pick from our family-friendly restaurants in Dubai. For a date night, start with our romantic restaurants in Dubai. After an 8pm show, there are plenty of late-night things to do in Dubai, from late cafés to Dubai’s best street food.
To see the building without a show, the Dubai Opera Grand Tour on the official tours page lasts 120 minutes, starts from AED 70 and runs at 12pm, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm until 30 November 2026. Tour tickets are non-refundable. For many residents, a night at the opera has simply become part of the Dubai lifestyle.
Other Dubai Events During the Opera Season
The season overlaps with Dubai’s busiest months outdoors. Matinees like Swan Lake on Ice pair well with a day at Dubai Safari Park or Dubai Miracle Garden, and evening shows with a night at Global Village. In November the city also runs the Dubai Fitness Challenge and hosts the EV World Dubai exhibition (10–12 November), while the December and January dates fall around the Dubai Shopping Festival and New Year’s Eve in Dubai. Expo City Dubai’s own programme, including GITEX, is covered in our Expo City Dubai events guide.
