Global Village will reopen for its 31st season on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, ending the summer break for one of Dubai’s longest-running winter attractions. The organiser confirmed the Global Village Dubai 2026 opening date on 14 September. The multicultural park will run until May 2027 under the theme “A More Wonderful World.”
For most families, the practical questions come first: what Global Village Season 31 tickets will cost, which nights are reserved for families, and how to get there without a long queue for parking.
Standard entry tickets for the new season are not yet on sale. The official Global Village website still says Season 31 entry tickets will be available soon, while VIP Pack sales follow a separate schedule. Last season’s prices and entry rules are the best guide to what visitors can expect.
The park returns after a record-setting stretch. Season 29 drew more than 10.5 million guests, according to the Dubai Media Office. Season 30 brought together 30 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, over 3,500 shopping outlets, up to 200 rides and games, and more than 200 restaurants, cafés and street-food stalls.
When Does Global Village Season 31 Open?
Global Village opens on Wednesday, 14 October 2026. The mid-October midweek start follows the usual pattern: Season 30 opened on Wednesday, 15 October 2025. The organiser has said only that the season will run “until May 2027.” No exact closing date has been published.

That gap matters, because closing dates at Global Village tend to move. Season 30 was originally scheduled to close on 10 May 2026. After a temporary closure earlier in the year, the park reopened on 20 April and ran until 31 May.
Global Village has not yet published a full Season 31 operating-hours schedule or confirmed the family-and-ladies policy. Check the official calendar close to your visit, especially if you plan to go on a Tuesday or public holiday.
Global Village ticket prices and free-entry rules
Global Village has not announced prices for Season 31 tickets. Season 30 used two standard entry tickets, and both prices included 5% VAT:

In Season 30, visitors going on a Friday, Saturday or public holiday needed the AED 30 Any Day ticket. The weekday-ticket rules changed during that season, so check the final Season 31 terms before booking.
In Season 30, the free-entry rules were:
- Children under three enter free.
- Seniors over 65 enter free.
- People of Determination ID card holders enter free, together with one companion.
When Season 31 tickets go on sale, check the official Global Village channels for the final sales routes and eligibility rules. Avoid resellers offering early or discounted entry before the official release.
Season 31 VIP Packs are sold separately from entry tickets. Silver costs AED 1,890, Gold AED 2,490, Platinum AED 3,490 and Diamond AED 7,900. Pre-booking runs from 21 to 25 September 2026 and adds a priority-booking fee of AED 200–1,000, depending on the tier; general sales begin on 26 September. Mega Silver costs AED 3,490 and Mega Gold AED 4,990; both add AED 150 during pre-booking.
What’s New at Global Village Season 31?
The organiser has kept details of the new season under wraps. It has promised “thrilling additions” and says it will reveal new and enhanced attractions, along with returning favourites, through a series of announcements before opening day.
The theme itself is familiar. “A More Wonderful World” has been Global Village’s slogan for several seasons, so it signals continuity rather than a relaunch.
Season 30 changed several parts of the park. The Main Stage was expanded, Fiesta Street was extended, and the former Railway Market became the Dessert District. Food remains the main reason many residents return each year. The pavilions make Global Village one of the easiest places in the city to work through the top street foods to try in Dubai in a single evening, from Emirati luqaimat to South Asian chaat and Turkish ice cream.
Season 30 attractions to watch for in Season 31
Three attractions were part of Season 30, but Global Village has not yet confirmed whether they will return for Season 31.
Gardens of the World is a landscaped promenade with floral displays and miniature versions of famous landmarks. It was designed as a quieter space for families and for photographs.
Dragon Kingdom is a walk-through adventure with 11 themed rooms. Visitors solve puzzles to help Ignis, the last dragon of Blackstone Hollow, recover his powers. Last season it was sold as a combined ticket with park entry for AED 60.
Carnaval is the park’s amusement zone, with up to 200 rides and games. In Season 30 it added The Little Wonderers, an indoor adventure park for children with climbing structures, slides and obstacle courses. Rides are paid for with Wonder Pass points, separately from the entry ticket.
How to Get to Global Village From Around Dubai
Global Village sits on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311), south-east of the city centre. Four seasonal Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) bus routes serve it from major Metro and bus stations:

In the most recent season, RTA buses usually ran daily from 3.15pm to 11.15pm, and the journey took about 30 minutes. A one-way trip typically cost AED 10, paid by nol card. RTA has not yet published Season 31 fares, frequencies or timetables, so check its Journey Planner close to your visit.
Drivers can choose between free and paid parking. The main free zones are about 400 metres from the Gate of the World entrance. Paid parking costs AED 120 a day, a second paid zone near the Happiness Gate costs AED 75, and VIP parking costs AED 200 a day. On weekends and busy days, overflow zones about 1 kilometre from the Cultural Gate open, with a free shuttle bus or a rickshaw (from AED 10) to the entrance.

Plan the journey ahead of the Global Village Dubai 2026 opening date if you are visiting on opening week. The first weekend is traditionally one of the busiest of the season, and the free car parks closest to the gates fill early.
