The Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department opened a new branch in Muwaileh on Thursday, 29 October. The aim is to serve property owners and investors in one of the emirate’s most vibrant and fastest-growing investment areas without sending them across the city.
Muwaileh and the neighbourhoods around it have seen a wave of new projects and new residents. The department says the branch is its answer to rising demand for property services there.

The branch offers the department’s main in-person services under one roof:
- Registering and documenting property transactions
- Issuing title deeds
- Mortgage services
- Property valuation
- Contract attestation
According to the department, the branch combines face-to-face service with its digital transformation work. Omar Al Mansoori, Director of the Branches Department, said it has the latest technology and trained staff, so customers can finish their transactions faster at the branch closest to them.

Why Muwaileh
Director General Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi opened the branch. Saeed Ghanem Al Suwaidi, who heads the real estate sector working group at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, attended, along with real estate office owners and representatives of major developers, Al Khaleej reported.
“Muwaileh and its surrounding areas are witnessing an exceptional urban and investment boom, accompanied by a noticeable increase in real estate projects and population expansion.”
Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General, Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department
Al Shamsi said the opening follows the directives of Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the follow-up of Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council. He added that being closer to customers saves them time and effort and supports activity in the emirate’s property market.
The same idea, putting services near where people live, is behind Dubai’s new Urban Centres Development Plan.
