Apple’s headline feature is a matte nano-texture finish on the inner screen, which it says reduces glare. CNN’s hands-on reported that the finish made the crease hardly noticeable. Performance: A20 Pro vs XRING O3

The iPhone Duo runs Apple’s A20 Pro, the same chip family as the iPhone 18 Pro. Apple claims up to 20% faster CPU performance and up to 40% faster graphics than the A19 Pro, with improved vapour-chamber cooling. The Xiaomi 18 Fold is the first Xiaomi flagship to run on the company’s own chip, the 3nm XRING O3, with a 10-core CPU and a 16-core GPU. It comes with 12GB or 16GB of RAM, and the top 1TB model uses newer LPDDR6 memory. This is Xiaomi’s clearest win. The 18 Fold has a Leica-branded triple camera: a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom and a 50MP ultrawide. It can record 8K video at 24 frames per second. The iPhone Duo has two 48MP cameras, a main and an ultrawide, and no telephoto lens. Apple’s strength is video, with 4K recording at up to 120 frames per second in Dolby Vision. Can you buy the Xiaomi 18 Fold in the UAE?
