Wondermind SRS 44 LLC and Bespoke Wondermind LLC filed the lawsuit earlier this month, accusing Gomez, Teefey and Pierson of misleading investors about the company’s financial situation, infrastructure and resources.
Selena Gomez’s Lawyer Denies the Allegations
Gomez’s lawyer, Mathew S. Rosengart, strongly rejected the allegations against the actress and said her legal team plans to fight the lawsuit. He described the claims that Gomez was involved in fraud or other wrongdoing as meritless and confirmed that a motion to dismiss the case will be filed.
What Are the Investors Alleging?
The lawsuit claims that the company’s founders made misleading statements about its infrastructure and resources, resulting in more than $1 million in investments. The investors also allege that they were not properly informed about the company’s financial difficulties for several years. The lawsuit further includes allegations concerning the management of the company and claims involving Gomez’s mother, Mandy Teefey.
