The petition had challenged the Coastal Regulation Zone clearance granted for the project, arguing against the approval for changes to the property. However, the Supreme Court refused to interfere with an earlier National Green Tribunal order that had already upheld the clearance. This gives Shah Rukh Khan another legal win in the long-running scrutiny around one of India’s most recognizable celebrity homes.
