Memphis enters the final as the slight favorite after an impressive tournament run built around the outstanding performances of Cedric Coward and 2026 lottery pick Cameron Boozer.


Coward was the standout player in the semifinal victory over Houston, delivering a dominant performance with 28 points, six rebounds and five assists. Boozer also played a major role, recording a double-double with 12 points, 12 rebounds and five assists as the Grizzlies improved to a 4-1 record in Summer League action.


The Grizzlies have developed a strong three-player core throughout the tournament, with Javon Small joining Coward and Boozer as a key contributor. Small added 17 points, seven rebounds and six assists against Houston, highlighting Memphis’ depth and versatility on both ends of the court.


Golden State, however, has shown enough quality to challenge Memphis in the final. The Warriors advanced after a balanced team performance against the Lakers, with several players stepping up during crucial moments.


A major factor in Sunday’s matchup could be the battle in the paint. Golden State has first-round selection Yaxel Lendeborg, who has provided a strong interior presence and could face a major test against Boozer. Lendeborg scored 15 points in the semifinal win and will be expected to play a key defensive role.


Graham Ike is another important piece for the Warriors after producing 16 points and 11 rebounds against Los Angeles. His ability to attack the basket and create second-chance opportunities could help Golden State compete with Memphis’ physical frontcourt.
